    • NJ Department of Human Services (DHS) - This Department is the largest state agency with more than 14,000 employees. DHS serves millions of New Jersey’s vulnerable children and adults through the programs administered by its eight Divisions: Addiction Services, Commission for the Blind, Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Developmental Disabilities, Disability Services, Family Development, Medical Assistance and Health Services (Medicaid), and Mental Health Services. Links to each of these Divisions can be found on the DHS Web site.

    • NJ Medicaid & Managed Care (from The New Jersey Department of Human Services) - There are currently six HMOs (“health maintenance” or “managed care” organizations that contract with the State of New Jersey to provide health care to Medicaid and NJ FamilyCare beneficiaries. This State Web site provides links to each of these HMOs.
